About DCA
DCA (Diamond Council of America), was founded in 1944 as a forum to educate jewelry sales professionals and provide quality, affordable distance education that enhances associates’ ability to sell fine jewelry with expertise, integrity, and professionalism.

Retail professionals in the fine jewelry industry must be able to aid customers in purchasing decisions with both their heads and their hearts—combining the objective facts while also conveying the subjectiveness of beauty and emotion. For more than seventy years, the DCA’s educational courses have taught students how to achieve this complex and critical combination, thus enabling them to reach higher levels in their careers.

DCA offers professional courses in diamonds, colored gemstones, and fine jewelry sales—and a diploma program in gem and jewelry sales—all accessible through an interactive, online learning platform.

DCA Members
DCA membership is available to jewelry retailers to receive discounted pricing on courses and diplomas. Currently, DCA has hundreds of member jewelry stores in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
