New York, NY – Diamond Council of America (DCA), a non-profit organization that provides quality, affordable distance education and the opportunity to earn professional certifications in diamonds, colored gemstones, and fine jewelry sales, is set to collaborate with the Independent Jewelers Organization (IJO) to present a 2-Hour Gemstone Live Sales Power Session for attendees of the IJO Colorado Springs, Colorado Conference. The course will take place on February 28, 2026 at the Broadmoor Resort. The Conference is from February 28 – March 3, 2026.
The Gemstone Live session will be a fast-paced, 2-hour introduction that is designed to build confidence in selling colored gemstones. Attendees will learn how to speak to color, rarity, and value in ways that inspire customers, turn features into benefits, and handle common objections. The session, presented by Roxana Langloss for DCA, offers a glimpse into the full DCA Gemstone Sales Course—giving practical techniques that can be used immediately and sets the stage for deeper sales training.
“We are looking forward to presenting this DCA Gemstone Live session at IJO. With our renewed commitment to providing quality and affordable distance education, this course will provide jewelers with an interactive look into the DCA Colored Gemstone course, an essential educational course in today’s gemstone driven retail environment,” says Annie Doresca, DCA President & CEO.
The Independent Jewelers Organization is an elite group of retailers which only accepts jewelers with the highest ethical standards and superior professional integrity. IJO provides marketing and educational opportunities to members worldwide.
“We’re proud to strengthen our partnership with DCA and continue bringing meaningful, high-impact education to our members. When respected organizations come together with a shared commitment to excellence and professional growth, it elevates not only our members but our industry as a whole. We’re excited about the opportunities ahead and the positive impact this developed collaboration will have on independent jewelers across North America,” says Sam Larson, IJO Director of Vendor and Partnership Relations.
